1005 Mortar Trainers

Provide subject matter expertise and training support students in all aspects of the Mortar systems (60mm/81mm/120mm) Forward Observer training and Fire Direction Control. 

 

The SME/11C/SFQC Mortars, FO and FDC Trainer shall train their counterpart on the following tasks: 

Maintains mortars and fire control equipment

Performs safety checks on mortars

Performs as a member of a mortar squad providing indirect fire support

Leads and controls mortar squads

Provides tactical and technical guidance to subordinates and professional support to subordinates and superiors in the accomplishment of their duties

Records operational information on maps

Receives and implements combat orders; directs deployment of personnel in offensive, defensive, and retrograde operations

Requests, observes, and adjusts indirect supporting fire

Supervises subordinate personnel in all phases of individual and mortar equipment maintenance

Uses map and map overlays, performs intersection and resection, and determines elevations and grid azimuth

Prepares fire plans, target lists and overlays

 Prepares and computes firing data using below pivot point and grid method

MINIMUM TANGIBLE QUALIFICATIONS:

Be an Army Senior NCO or above, ITC graduate

Current passport with minimum 1 year validity 

Military occupational specialty 11 C/A or service equivalent

Possesses strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with peers, direct reports, and supervisors at all times

Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)

Willing to work and live in Saudi Arabia 

Previous experience training foreign military soldiers with interpreter support 

MS Office Skills, Personal Computer (PC) Skills, Interpersonal and People Skills, Oral and Written Communication Skills, Organizational Skills

60/81/120 mm mortar background

 Must have 5 years military background in US Military Mortar operations or FO Operations 

1009 Field Service Representative / Team Chief

 

The Field Service Representative (FSR) shall have the skills required to effectively lead and manage a small team, under austere conditions, with minimal direct supervision. The FSR will serve as the senior resident expert and advisor on all matters related to the M1151 HMMWV operator and maintenance program.

Qualifications are as follows:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent military education) in any discipline that provides the skills required for managing a small team, coordinating for a small team’s support and transportation, accounting for funds and property, developing and implementing a detailed training program, preparing written technical reports, and public speaking. Military education equivalents are the Ordnance or Transportation Advance Leaders Non-Commissioned Officers Course, the Ordnance or Transportation Warrant Officer Advanced Course, or the Ordnance or Transportation Officer’s Advanced/Captain’s Career Course.

Training: Technical training providing knowledge of all M1151 HMMWV overall program management and maintenance procedures, maintenance management, and supply at the Unit level or Intermediate level is required. Examples of acceptable training are the Army Fleet Management / Maintenance Management Course, Maintenance Leaders Course, and Automotive Maintenance Warrant Officer Basic Course.

Experience: A minimum of ten years’ experience working in a maintenance organization with no less than one year supervising individuals performing maintenance tasks or conducting maintenance training. Previous experience as a Security Assistance Team (SAT) team chief or SAT member is highly desirable but not required. Individual shall have the skills required to effectively conduct classroom instruction, demonstrate maintenance and operator procedures, observe/evaluate student performance of hands-on maintenance tasks, and provide oral/written feedback to the student. Qualification as an Army instructor with experience teaching at the Army Logistics University is highly desirable.

 

1010 Maintenance Trainer Team Trainer shall conduct classroom instruction, demonstrate maintenance management procedures, and observe/evaluate student performance of hands-on tasks for approximately 150 students. The students will all have at least a basic (MOS) qualification in maintenance

Qualifications are as follows:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent military education) desired

Training: Technical training providing knowledge of all M1151 HMMWV Level I operator maintenance required (Level II Unit maintenance desired) and driver training.

 

Experience: A minimum of five years’ experience working in a maintenance organization.
